The Family Caregiver Resource Center (FCRC) provides information and support to those who care for individuals over sixty years of age and grandparents raising grandchildren. Counseling, support groups, training, literature, and numerous other services and resources are provided through this innovative program.

There are no fees associated with the FCRC which has been in existence since 2001. Funding for the FCRC comes through Title III Older Americans Act, the East Central Illinois Area Agency on Aging, Illinois Department on Aging, and voluntary participant contributions.

In Fiscal Year 2011, the FCRC provided services to 61 caregivers and 24 grandparents from all walks of life.
