Community generosity literally built the LifeSpan Center. As the Coles County Council on Aging strives to fully utilize the potential of this amazing facility, donors continue to provide unique gifts to expand the outreach of the LifeSpan Center. The building itself includes: state of the art, 46 seat, stadium style theater, pool table, ping-pong table, wii, beauty shop, spa, exercise room, game room, dining room, covered patio, commercial kitchen, professional grade kilns, library, conference room, craft room, auditorium, class room, and 15 computer stations in a cutting edge technology lab.
The Coles County Council on Aging sponsors numerous programs that receive funding locally, federally, and at the state level. In addition, private grants and donations of money, services, and commodities allow the CCCoA to serve more than 7,000 Coles County residents each year.
